APS Engineer

What you'll do?  Core Responsibilities and Activities Acts as a champion for root-cause investigation and corrective action implementation through application of analytical tools that enables continual improvement to: employee safety, product quality, process robustness, machine reliability and product cost. Drives value stream implementation projects with a focus on continuous improvement of safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Identifies and facilitates safety, quality and process improvement projects through use of APS principles, and cross functional workshops to drive cultural change.  Act as a mentor ensuring all workshops have a SMART goal, and support policy deployment. Carries out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, develop budgets and cost analysis and report workshop progress. Drives value stream mapping to define "As-Is Analysis" and the transition to Future State. Work closely with Quality teams to identify adverse trends and systemic issues in order to ensure accurate root-cause analyses and to determine areas of culpability. Develop actions to focus programs on these areas to drive measurable improvement. Develops and conducts compliance audits, and ensures improvements are permanent in Manufacturing and Quality Metrics.  Facilitate Zero Project Workshops, Teach APS University classes and HR Leadership classes Provides technical support as needed to assist in resolution to line manufacturing issues. Uses, trains, coaches, and mentors others in application of APS principles and proactive problem solving.  Develops APS implementation plans and coordinate implementation/training efforts. Helps promote and facilitate a positive working environment. Manages projects/efforts where all involved report to others for day-to-day direction by facilitating a high level of employee participation. Manages schedules/timelines, manages completion of projects/efforts to meet targets/goals, and requests and coordinates resources. Continually re-evaluates and adjusts plans based on changing business priorities to attain required results. Adapts & leads change and constructively supports ongoing improvement philosophy throughout the company. Ensure effective standards are captured and yokoten as applicable.   Functional Competencies Ability to openly and effectively communicate principles of continuous improvement Demonstrated presentation skills Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills in planning and organizing to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Advanced problem solving capabilities, attention to detail and numerical aptitude. Ability to work in multidisciplinary team Planning and organizational skills, such as time and resource allocation   What you'll bring Certifications/Accreditations Graduate of APS (Autoliv Production System) University or Academy Preferred Experience BS in Business Management, Science, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or related manufacturing field or equivalent. Minimum of five (5) years of leadership skills to coach and lead teams to fully deliver chartered objectives and projects. Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives. Must have thorough understanding of cycle time reduction, waste reduction, yield improvement, productivity and throughput improvement. Must have demonstrated results using Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methods (APS principles).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
