Maintenance Planner

Maintenance Planner develops work plans for maintenance jobs, repairs, preventative maintenance schedules and installation of new equipment, with necessary information to allow efficient scheduling, assignment and execution of maintenance work to ensure equipment operates correctly and efficiently according to production requirements. The Maintenance Planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to analysis and reporting of maintenance related matters.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Prepare and develop weekly work schedules for routine and corrective/breakdown maintenance activities for all non-emergency maintenance work.
  • Attend and lead scheduling meetings.
  • Analyze work stoppages to identify and correct the underlying cause of recurring problems. Generate maintenance performance metrics as assigned.
  • Organize and maintain equipment history files, equipment information and vendor literature to assist with planning activities in plant files both electronically and on paper. Maintain complete and accurate records within the CMMS.
  • Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to enhance PM/PDM program and coordinates maintenance and repair of plant equipment which impacts both production and quality.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities between all departments, with outside contractors, and among various work groups to ensure that jobs progress in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Responsible for both long range and short range planning.
  • Coordinate equipment downtime.
  • Partner with all departments of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience is preferred.
  • Certified Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
  • Computer experience Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Knowledge of Kronos or other timekeeping system a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment of continuous change and challenges.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends according to schedule.
  • Coaching and performance management experience a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
